Natalia Syed holds both Master's Degree in Voice Performance from the University of Northern Iowa, USA ,and Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Russian State Pedagogical University, St. Petersburg, Russia.
Among Natalia Syed's most influential private teachers are Olga Petrenko(pianist and organist)at the Russian State Pedagogical University, Olga Kondina ( a leading soprano soloist ), Lyudmila Sveshnikova ( Principal Pianist ) at the Mariinsky Theatre, St. Petersburg, Russia , and Dr. Jean McDonald( voice) at the University of Northern Iowa, USA
Natalia Syed is a Founding Teacher of the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program ( now RCM)in the United States, which educates children and adults through the wonderfully designed curriculum and Assessment Programs. Her students performed at Carnegie Hall at the Winners Tri-State Recitals of the Music Development Program.
Natalia Syed is an active member of Music Teachers National Association ( MTNA) and prepares students for the events offered by the Connecticut( Middlesex/New London) chapter. Mrs. Syed is a Chair of the New London Piano Festival sponsored by CSMTA chapter, a non- competitive, adjudicated event that involves solo and duet piano performance.http://nlpianofestival.org/
In addition, she is an avid collaborative pianist and enjoys accompanying her voice students, other string studios' recitals and instrumentalists in the area.
